Work Under Way On AI Data Center in Sulphur Springs
According to reporting by KLTV on the AI data center development in Sulphur Springs, Texas, construction is now underway on a large-scale project known as the Matrix Campus, led by MSB Global Services. The project represents an estimated $18 billion investment and spans more than 16,000 acres. When complete, it will include 30 AI-focused facilities, thousands of construction jobs, long-term technical employment, and more than $100 million in projected annual tax revenue for the city. The development also includes major upgrades to local infrastructure, utilities, public safety, housing, and community amenities.
From my perspective, this project is about building real-world infrastructure for the future of AI. Advanced intelligence does not run on theory. It runs on land, power, cooling, and execution. That is why this campus is designed with on-site natural gas and microgrid solutions, phased delivery, and next-generation cooling technologies built for hyperscale demand. We are not waiting for the grid to catch up. We are building energy and compute systems that move at the speed of innovation while creating long-term value for the community. This is what responsible, scalable AI infrastructure looks like when it is built correctly.
